The Department of Civil Engineering has been functioning since 2012 with emphasis on fundamental theory and practice in Civil Engineering, keeping in view the current and continuously changing scenarios in this discipline. The department offers a full time B.Tech degree course in civil engineering. The department has well experienced faculty. In addition to academic programs, the department is actively involved in enhancing the skill set of students and faculty through computer courses, seminars, and workshops. Furthermore, the faculty, comprising experienced professionals, is engaged in impactful research endeavors, contributing innovative concepts and applications of existing technologies. The department was affiliated to JNT University Hyderabad. The present student intake of the department is 60. Our faculty conducts Conferences and Workshops, fostering professional interaction and staying abreast of industry trends. Students from diverse regions of the state are enrolled in our program, creating a rich and varied learning environment.

The Department has fully equipped Labs with state-of-the-art equipment including Applied Mechanics Lab, Structures Lab, Strength of Materials Lab, Soil Mechanics Lab, Environmental Engineering Lab, Concrete Lab, Transportation Engineering Lab, Hydraulics Lab, Fluid Machinery Lab, Surveying Lab, Engineering Geology Lab, Computational Lab, and Advanced Structural Engineering Lab. To enhance student awareness and interest, we organize frequent interactions with reputable companies, including special technical lectures, workshops, site visits, and knowledge exchange sessions. The department places a strong emphasis on the holistic development of students, encouraging participation in extracurricular and co-curricular activities. This approach nurtures team spirit, organizational skills, and ensures students remain updated on the latest developments in the field of Civil Engineering.
